Aankiliyude Tharattu was released in1987 and it was one of the best movies of Mammootty and his character Haridas excelled along with Revathi’s Sunitha Menon. Mammootty was big star among family and Rahman become big star among youth on those days.
Movie was directed by Cochin Hanifa and movie made good profit to the producers. It was a family drama and attracted family audiences and become hit at that time. Even though his movies were not doing good at that time, same year he created box office history with the release of “New Delhi”.
