Anu Bandham is an excellent movie written by M T Vasudevan Nair and directed by IV Sasi. Movie got released in 1985, the year in which Mammootty ruling the kerala box office with huge hits. Mammootty, Seema, Mohanlal, Shobhana and Master Prasobh were the major actors.
Story is about a widow Sunandha (Seema) lives in poverty with her child in rural Kerala. Desperate to earn a living, she starts a kindergarten school with the help of her silent admirer, Master Murali (Mammootty). Just as her life seems to be headed to stability, a tragic event complicates their living situation in the village.
Mammootty’s performance was awesome and he was living as Murali Master. This is one of the best characters of Mammootty. Seema proved that she is best actress at that time. Mohanlal and Shobhana also acted neatly. Movie ran more than 80 days in major centers. It was a super hit movie at that time.
