Kariyila Kattu Pole, 1986 is a thrilling investigation thriller scripted and directed by P Padmarajan, the genius director of Malayalam cinema. Story is about murder of Harikrishnan (Mammootty), a story writer, central character of this movie. Mohanlal is the police officer investigating the murder of the ace writer His investigation leads him to suspect three ladies, all of them seem to be present at the crime scene, but have hardly any reason to murder him.
Later he discovers that all three have their own reasons to murder him but finally he finds the real culprit who murdered Harikrishnan. Mammootty has a negative shade but finally will come to know that he was innocent. Audiences liked Mammootty’s touching performance. Rahman also did a major role, brother of Mohanlal, who is the real culprit. Movie emerged as good winner at box office with quality and become one of the hits of 1986.
