Ee Thanalil Ithiri Neram directed by P.G. Viswambharan and was released in January; 1985.It was one of the best year of Mammootty and his character Vijayan succeeded along with other hit characters in the movies like yatra and nirakoottu. He acted mainly in family based stories at that time.
Movie made good profit to the producers and ran more than 60 days in major centers and become good hit in 1985. He was the only super star ruling the box office at that time.
