Muhurtham Pathnonnu Muppathinu is released in 1985, one of the best years of Mammootty and directed by Joshi based on Kaloor Dennis script. Mammootty excelled as Dr. M.K Haridas. Mammootty, Saritha combination was best at that time. Both stars excelled in their roles.
Movie attracted more family audiences and become one of the super hit of 1985. Jubilee pictures at its peak time giving many hits from Mammootty. Baby Salini also did her role well. Movie ran nearly 75 days in major centers.
