Vartha a political and action thriller directed by I V Sasi released in 1986. Mammootty excelled as Madavan Kutty and Mohanlal also justified his role as Vasu. Rahman also performed well as Unnikrishnan. Radha is one of the great roles played by Seema.
T Damodaran’s script is fabulous and best in 1986. Mammootty got lots of applauses from audiences. It was one of the biggest hit of 1986. Even though Avanazhi ruled the box office, vartha also did well in box office at that year. Movie ran 150 days in major centers. Mammootty has outshined in this movie than other stars.
